Refund & Cancellation Policy

Subscriptions
Opal is offered as a subscription service, billed in advance at the start of each billing period (monthly or annually, per your plan).
Cancellation
You may cancel at any time through your account settings or by emailing support@opalnetworks.org. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You retain access to the Services through the end of that period. We do not charge cancellation fees.
Refunds
- Monthly plans: Payments for monthly subscriptions are non-refundable. Cancelling stops future charges; no prorated refunds are issued for partial months.
- Annual plans: If you cancel within 30 days of your initial annual purchase, we will refund the annual fee less the value of one month of service. After 30 days, annual fees are non-refundable, but your subscription remains active through the end of the paid term.
- Billing errors: If you believe you were charged in error (duplicate charge, incorrect amount, charge after cancellation), contact us within 60 days of the charge and we will investigate and correct verified errors promptly, including issuing refunds where appropriate.
- Service failure: If a verified, material failure of the Services on our part prevents you from using them for an extended period, we will work with you on a fair remedy, which may include credit or prorated refund at our discretion.
How Refunds Are Issued
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days of approval.
